The Epol Complete Laying Ration supports all stages of a layer’s life. From pullets to mature laying hens, it provides energy, essential vitamins, minerals, and amino acids to maintain healthy, productive, and uniform birds.

Key Management Guidelines

• Prepare your layer house before pullets arrive and plan your vaccination programme.
• Provide feed and water 24 hours before chicks/pullets arrive to ensure immediate access to feed and water.
• Use starter crumble feed for young pullets (0 – 6 weeks) and transition to pellet or mash for mature layers.
• Perform the first check 4–6 hours after placement to ensure birds are eating, drinking, and active. Investigate issues such as floor temperature if activity is low.
• Maintain proper feeder and drinker space: 1 bell drinker per 100 birds or 1 nipple drinker per 12 birds; 1 pan feeder for 45 birds; 40cm tube feeder for 70 birds.
• Temperature management is critical: record min/max temperatures and maintain a floor temperature of 32°C at placement. Carefully regulate temperature especially during the first 14 days.
• Birds should never be without feed. Proper access ensures maximum egg production.
