| FEEDING RECOMMENDATIONS: |
| Feed to dairy replacement heifers from 5-6 months of age to breeding, at a rate of 3-4 kg/heifer/day, along with restricted access to maize silage or free access to other roughage, veld grazing or pasture. The quantity of compound feed can be adjusted up or down to achieve specified weight and skeletal growth targets. Consult an animal nutrition advisor for more detailed/customized advice. |
